Rumps (with new family)
the last of three cats that we rescued in rapid succession at the bakery. He is a fiesty Manx, utterly bereft of street smarts though. Rita arrived one morning and Rumps turned up shortly after, hungry and thirsty. After feeding he would not leave, and everytime we opened the door, "voomp" he'd be in. What do you do? At that point we felt that we had enough intact males at home, didn't think we could deal with another, so we left him sleeping in a box on the back verandah (he could get out). Next morning we arrive not really expecting to see Rumps, but the minute, we got on the Verandah, Rump's head pokes out of the box, and he came in again for food, and we went and had breakfast on the front verandah, and we lost track of him for a bit thinking he may have gone out the back door, but when Crystal started pulling chairs off tables, she discovered him in an armchair, so asleep that the noise didn't disturb him in the least. So at that point he was homeward bound, where he has returned the favour in spades, taking on part of the parenting of 3 stray nieghborhood kittens |

| Looking For a Home These two were dropped off at Brackenridge golf course around the 19th of July. The one on the left is an affable friendly pure male labrador, probably about 8 months old, the one on the right is a female with some ridgeback in her. She is a little timid, but is cat friendly and works hard to over come her timidity to make friends. These guys are both healthy, and will be desexed and have their basic shots for adoption. Anyone interested in possibly fostering, one or both of these guys until we can find a home, or for a limited time, would be a help. We tend to take in a lot of cats, and are not well equipped to handle dogs. Update: Thanks to Dannette Schweers theses guys have found temporary place at the Animal Defense League No Kill Shelter japostolovic@satx.rr.com ph 210 862 6144 |
Live very close by. One of the bonuses of living in this area is that we have attracted the coolest cats and dogs that people for what ever reason are no longer able to care for. Many of our neighbors are in the same position. Rita and I would like to help find new owners for some of these great pets. There is nothing sadder than seeing a bewildered cat or dog wondering the park, with absolutely no street skills whatsoever. It is absolutely Free to post any animals on this page, and the animal will be posted in the bakery also.
Will take lost/found and for adoption. Please remember to send contact information

| Ponch Lost Ponch was lost from our home in River Rd on the 23rd of November, last year. We later learnt that he was taken by a well meaning passer by who felt that he was looking rather starved, and needed veterinary attention. Any information leading to the return of Ponch will be rewarded. japostolovic@satx.rr.com ph 210 862 6144 |
