Be aware when ordering rye bread products: We produce rye bread products only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So orders containing these products will ship, and can only be picked up on these days.

Shipping Orders Policies and Procedures
Your agreement to these terms and conditions is implicit in you having purchased items online.

  1. Our current published rate scale applies to orders that are shipped by UPS ground.

  2. USPS priority shipping is only used in those instances where it is not possible to ship using ground shipping within the 3 days. In those instances no extra charge is generated.

  3. In those instances where it is possible to ship using ground within 3 days, the order will ship at the next continuous 3 day window.

  4. Shipping may dispatch next day depending on destination and day of the week. (No shipment will be more than 3 days in transit). Delivery is from 1 - 3 days after dispatch day, which is determined by the factors discussed in the previous condition.

  5. For expedited shipping contact us for special rates.

  6. Our formula for calculating expedited shipping costs is in the instance where the customer has qualified for free shipping, we will subtract the actual ground shipping cost from the actual cost of the expedited shipping, and charge the customer the difference. In the instance where the order does not qualify for free shipping, the additional charge for expedited shipping will be the difference between what the customer has already paid and the new expedited actual cost.

  7. We will email you the shipping information and your delivery Tracking Number, so that you may track your own package.

  8. Please check with ups.com or usps.com for delivery details. The Little Aussie Bakery & Cafe will not be held responsible for delays in shipping or other shipping issues that may arise with UPS.com or USPS.com. Please direct all delivery questions, claims or complaints directly to UPS or USPS. Please only contact The Little Aussie Bakery & Cafe if you have questions concerning the actual products.

  9. All claims for replacement or refund based on the condition of the product on arrival related to factors of spoilage within our 3 day transit time, as opposed to claims of physical damage related to the process of transportation, must be sent to us by email to onlineorders@thelittleaussiebakery.com within 24 hours of tracked delivery time and date. Claims received outside of this time frame will not be considered. A claim form will be sent out for completion, and we will at our discretion either replace the affected product or provide a refund, after due consideration of your claim. We may at our discretion and our expense request the return of items subject to the claim. Upon receipt of a request the return of items subject to claim, your claim will be held in suspense until such items are returned.

In-Store Pickup Orders Policies and Procedures

  1. Orders for next day pick up, MUST be placed before 8:00 p.m. CST. The order will automatically be applied to the next day we are open for business, unless you specify in the comment box in your shopping cart a later date and time you prefer. Alternatively you can email your preference to us at the time you order your product.

  2. Orders not picked up on the day stipulated will be frozen for the customer for a period of not longer than 48 hours.

  3. Once product is made for a customer order it will not be reproduced because of a failure to pick up.

  4. While it is our intention to keep your order for you, we will not accept responsibility for any product left at the bakery longer than the designated day of pick up, unless alternative arrangements have been pre-made by the customer.

  5. When ordering products that are only made on specific days like rye bread and eclairs, your order will be applied to the next day those products are made. Any such products have the days they are made on the page on which you order them.

  6. With regard to online cake orders for pick a 48 hour period is automatically applied from the time of ordering. Other time frames must be negotiated by phone with staff.

Weekly Specials In-Store Pickup Orders Policies and Procedures

By participating in our weekly pre-paid, pre-ordered specials program you are agreeing to abide by the following conditions:

  1. A day must be designated for pick up within 7 days of ordering at the time the order is submitted. Either in the comment box of the shopping cart, or in a separate email to: onlineorders@thelittleaussiebakery.com

  2. In the event that an order is submitted without a pick up day being designated, the order will be produced for pick up on the next business day. With the exception of cakes which will be on the second to next business day.

  3. All "pre-order pre-pay specials" must be picked up by 3pm on the designated day.

  4. "Pre-order pre-pay specials" will under no circumstances be reproduced following failure to pick up. A refund will be made upon request with the production of a receipt for paypal orders, and upon confirmation of your order in our order book for phone orders.

  5. This offer cannot be used in combination with any other promotion.

  6. This special must be pre-ordered and pre-paid by midnight of the Thursday following the start of the special.
