What are seesaw activities?

The Seesaw Activity Library is a growing resource of grade-level and subject specific activities, created by teachers like you! Find ideas that inspire your students to reflect on and share their learning in creative ways. You can also share activities you like with other teachers by following the instructions here!

How do students use seesaw?

Students use creative tools to take pictures, draw, record videos and more to capture learning in a portfolio. Teachers find or create activities to share with students. Families only see their child’s work and leave comments and encouragement. Learn more about what families see here.

Are all seesaw activities public?

Activities teachers create are private to their account by default. Optionally, teachers may choose to publish activities they create to the public Seesaw Activity Library. Any activities you submit are yours, not Seesaw’s, and student responses are never shared.

Can you create folders in seesaw?

Tap or click the wrench icon in the top right corner. Scroll to the Folders section and select manage folders. Create a folder name (ex. Math, Reading, Social Studies, etc.)

Can parents see skills on seesaw?

Please note: families and students will NOT see Skills view or be able to tell which Skills their children have been tagged in. You can, of course, choose to share that information with families during parent-teacher conferences if that would be helpful in sparking meaningful conversation!
