Levequests are unlocked every 5 levels from level 1-45 and every 2 levels from 50 onwards. Starting Level 10, each batch of Levequests must be “unlocked” by speaking to the respective Levemete. They give you a trial Levequest (does not reduce allowances) to prove you’re up for the task.

What is a Levemete?

Guildleves or Levequests are repeatable quests players can perform to earn experience, gil and items. Unlike regular quests, which can only be performed once per character, levequests can be performed again and again as long as the player has Leve allowances. Guildleves can be completed individually or as a group.

Spread out across camps in La Noscea, Thanalan, the Black Shroud, and the Coerthas Central Highlands, you’ll find other Levemete NPCs offering these same “Leves of [Place]” quests. You have to do these quests on a battle job at the appropriate level to unlock additional fieldcraft levequests.

Levequests are something you can do every day, but don’t have to do. In other words, not like brushing your teeth. At all. You can only do it a limited amount of times per day, much like you’re only allowed to watch TV a limited amount of hours a day.
