Who is the official housing provider for Otakon 2022?

Maritz Global Events (formarly Experient) is the official housing provider for the 2022 Otakon Convention. Beware! Solicitation of hotel reservations from any other company is not authorized by Otakorp, Inc. and may not have accurate room inventory, unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable.

How do I register to attend Otakon?

In order to attend Otakon you must be a member of Otakorp, Inc. Once a member of Otakorp, Inc., you will also need to register to attend Otakon. This seems complicated but we’ve set it up so that purchasing a membership automatically sets you up with a convention registration, because only members of Otakorp, Inc. may register to attend Otakon.

What is the attendance rate at Otakon?

Attendance increased by 9.3% after two consecutive years of decreasing attendance. First year Otakon was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Attendance decreased 14.4%.
